2) Use the "undisclosed feature" inside of Adwords used by the "big boys" like eBay and Amazon.
(Increases click throughs to astronomical proportions, We've got one keyword that hits an ongoing 41% click through!)
3) Suck up all the 5 cent and 10 cent traffic you can, using synonyms, misspellings, state & city names.
(By putting in a little "elbow grease", you can often take a list of 50 keywords and turn it into 1,500 to 2,500!)
4) Don't rely on "broad match", always triple your keywords count by using "phrase" and "exact" match!
